Hello! My name is Jada Tolbert and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Susan Moore Elementary. This school year will be my 12th year in the teaching field. I spent the first 9 years at Appalachian School teaching 4th grade for three years and kindergarten for 6 years. I then spent a year teaching kindergarten at Arab Primary School before coming to teach kindergarten at Susan Moore Elementary.

I attended Appalachian School my entire elementary and high school career, graduating in 2005. I went on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Athens State University in 2008, graduating with a 4.0 and in the top 4 of my graduating class.

I have been happily married to my husband Kyle for 12 years (in November 2020). We have two children, Rylee and Payton. Rylee will be in the 4th grade and Payton will be in the 1st grade at Susan Moore Elementary. We are members of Robin Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
